!!! Attention !!!
Due to the increase in cases, our capacity to investigate cases in a timely manner is no longer possible. If you test positive for COVID-19, please do not wait for us to call you to start isolation. You should isolate if you have symptoms or as soon as you are tested. Isolation means you do not go to work, to school, or leave your home with the exception of a medical or family emergency. While home, anyone sick or infected should separate themselves from others by staying in a specific “sick room” or area and using a separate bathroom (if available). Start making a contact list for "close contacts" that you have been around 48 hours prior to symptom onset. Let your contacts know that they may have been exposed. Close contacts should also quarantine until test results are available.
***What is a close contact? It is when you are within 6 feet, for more than a total of 15 minutes, of a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.***

CDC Quarantine Guidelines
The CDC quarantine guidelines are 14 days after the last day of exposure to a positive COVID-19 case. This has not changed. There are new “options” for Local Public Health Authorities to choose from, if warranted. At this time the BCHC will continue to follow CDC guidelines, which still state the 14 day quarantine.

potential exposure locations
We, at the Bollinger County Health Center, will continue to keep our citizens informed of potential COVID-19 exposure locations where it is impossible to identify all individuals at risk. When possible, establishments are contacted prior to publication. Possible exposure locations will be updated as new information becomes available through investigations.
We ask everyone to be aware that all public locations have a potential risk for COVID-19 exposure. This is why social distancing, wearing a mask, and hand hygiene are important when you leave your home to slow the spread of COVID-19.
***No locations at this time.***
